Section 1: HaShem (G-d)
HaShem* is One, there is no other, He is the first and He is the last and nothing can compare to Him.
*HaShem (Hebrew) means “The Name.” It is used by the Jewish people and many Gentiles to refer to G-d’s holy personal name. The pronunciation of the Hebrew letters Yud, Hey, Vav, Hey, also known as the Tetragrammaton, is not known today. Even if it were known today, it is still not to be pronounced. It was only spoken by the High Priest on Yom Kippur. The phrase “HaShem” is used to refer to G-d Himself. The phrase “Baruch HaShem” translates to “Bless the Name,” and also means “Bless the Lord” or “Praise G-d.”
The Sh’ma is the cornerstone of our faith, and all 613 Mitzvot (Commandments) are included in these words:
“Sh’ma, Yisra’el! Adonai Eloheinu, Adonai echad”
[Hear, Isra’el! Adonai our G-d (Elohim), Adonai is One].
Devarim (Deuteronomy) 6:4
The Shema teaches that HaShem – the G-d of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob – is echad, as so declared: a united one, a composite unity, eternally existent in plural oneness.
- BERESHEET [GENESIS) 1:1 CJB: In the beginning G-d (Elohim) created the heavens and the earth.
- BERESHEET [GENESIS) 1:26-27 CJB: Then G-d (Elohim) said, “Let us make humankind in our image, in the likeness of ourselves; and let them rule over the fish in the sea, the birds in the air, the animals, and over all the earth, and over every crawling creature that crawls on the earth.”
- BERESHEET [GENESIS) 17:3-4 CJB: Avram fell on his face, and G-d (Elohim) continued speaking with him: “As for Me, this is My covenant with you: you will be the father of many nations.”
- BERESHEET [GENESIS) 26:24 CJB: Adonai appeared to him (Itzhak) that same night and said, “I am the G-d (Elohim) of Avraham your father. Don’t be afraid, because I am with you; I will bless you and increase your descendants for the sake of my servant Avraham.”
THE MASHIACH, YESHUA, THE SON
Yeshua of Natzeret is the promised Jewish Messiah who was spoken of by Moshe and the prophets of Israel.
- YESHAYAHU (ISAIAH) 9:5-6 CJB: For a child is born to us, a son is given to us; dominion will rest on his shoulders, and he will be given the name Pele-Yo`etz El Gibbor Avi-`Ad Sar-Shalom [Wonder of a Counselor, Mighty G-d, Father of Eternity, Prince of Peace], in order to extend the dominion and perpetuate the peace of the throne and kingdom of David, to secure it and sustain it through justice and righteousness henceforth and forever. The zeal of Adonai-Tzva’ot will accomplish this.
- YESHAYAHU (ISAIAH) 11:10-12 CJB: On that day the root of Yishai, which stands as a banner for the peoples—the Goyim will seek him out, and the place where he rests will be glorious. On that day Adonai will raise his hand again, a second time, to reclaim the remnant of his people who remain from Ashur, Egypt, Patros, Ethiopia, `Eilam, Shin`ar, Hamat and the islands in the sea. He will hoist a banner for the Goyim, assemble the dispersed of Isra’el, and gather the scattered of Y’hudah from the four corners of the earth.
- See also: DANI’EL (DANIEL) CHAPTER 9 (esp. verses 20-26); YESHAYAHU (ISAIAH) 53.
The Mashiach represents a “Yechida” (entity or singularity) with Israel. Any attempt to separate Yeshua from His Jewish people reflects Anti-Semitism.
- YECHIDA: That of being one with G-d.
- PHILIPPIANS 2:5-11 CJB: Let your attitude toward one another be governed by your being in union with the Messiah Yeshua: Though he was in the form of G-d, he did not regard equality with G-d something to be possessed by force. On the contrary, he emptied himself, in that he took the form of a slave by becoming like human beings are. And when he appeared as a human being, he humbled himself still more by becoming obedient even to death—death on a stake as a criminal! Therefore G-d raised him to the highest place and gave him the name above every name; that in honor of the name given Yeshua, every knee will bow—in heaven, on earth and under the earth—and every tongue will acknowledge that Yeshua the Messiah is Adonai—to the glory of G-d the Father.
G-d has a Son. The Son, whose name is Yeshua, means salvation now, came to this world born of a virgin.
- TEHILLIM (PSALMS) 2:7-12 CJB: “I will proclaim the decree: Adonai said to me, ‘You are my son; today I became your father. Ask of me, and I will make the nations your inheritance; the whole wide world will be your possession. You will break them with an iron rod, shatter them like a clay pot.'” Therefore, kings, be wise; be warned, you judges of the earth. Serve Adonai with fear; rejoice, but with trembling. Kiss the son [or: Kiss purely], lest he be angry, and you perish along the way, when suddenly his anger blazes. How blessed are all who take refuge in him.
- MISHLEI (PROVERBS) 30:4 CJB: Who has gone up to heaven and come down? Who has cupped the wind in the palms of his hands? Who has wrapped up the waters in his cloak? Who established all the ends of the earth? What is his name, and what is his son’s name? Surely you know!
- YESHAYAHU (ISAIAH) 7:14 CJB: Therefore Adonai himself will give you people a sign: the young woman [Or: “the virgin.”] will become pregnant, bear a son and name him `Immanu El [G-d is with us].
The Son is G-d (Deity), and is worshiped as G-d, having existed eternally. He is the root and offspring of David, the bright and morning star. He is our Passover, the Lamb of G-d.
- TEHILLIM (PSALMS) 110:1-2 CJB: [A psalm of David:] Adonai says to my Lord, “Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies your footstool.” Adonai will send your powerful scepter out from Tziyon, so that you will rule over your enemies around you.
- B’MIDBAR (NUMBERS) 24:17-19 CJB: “I see him, but not now; I behold him, but not soon—a star will step forth from Ya`akov, a scepter will arise from Isra’el, to crush the corners of Mo’av and destroy all descendants of Shet. His enemies will be his possessions—Edom and Se`ir, possessions. Isra’el will do valiantly, From Ya`akov will come someone who will rule, and he will destroy what is left of the city.”
- I CORINTHIANS 5:7 CJB: Get rid of the old hametz, so that you can be a new batch of dough, because in reality you are unleavened. For our Pesach lamb, the Messiah, has been sacrificed.
Messiah’s First Coming – to make atonement for sin.
- VAYIKRA (NUMBERS) 24:17 CJB: “I see him, but not now; I behold him, but not soon—a star will step forth from Ya`akov, a scepter will arise from Isra’el, to crush the corners of Mo’av and destroy all descendants of Shet.
- YESHAYAHU (ISAIAH) 42:1-4 CJB: “Here is my servant, whom I support, my chosen one, in whom I take pleasure. I have put my Spirit on him; he will bring justice to the Goyim. He will not cry or shout; no one will hear his voice in the streets. He will not snap off a broken reed or snuff out a smoldering wick. He will bring forth justice according to truth; he will not weaken or be crushed until he has established justice on the earth, and the coastlands wait for his Torah.”
- LUKE 1:30-33 CJB: The angel said to her, “Don’t be afraid, Miryam, for you have found favor with G-d. Look! You will become pregnant, you will give birth to a son, and you are to name him Yeshua. He will be great, he will be called Son of Ha`Elyon. Adonai, G-d, will give him the throne of his forefather David; and he will rule the House of Ya`akov forever—there will be no end to his Kingdom.”

Messiah’s Second Coming – to return to Zion to establish the restoration of Israel, recover the remnant of His people Israel, restore and establish the throne of David which will last forever.
- YESHAYAHU (ISAIAH) 59:20-21 CJB: “Then a Redeemer will come to Tziyon, to those in Ya`akov who turn from rebellion.” So says Adonai. “And as for me,” says Adonai, “this is my covenant with them: my Spirit, who rests on you, and my words which I put in your mouth will not depart from your mouth or from the mouth of your children, or from the mouth of your children’s children, now or ever,” says Adonai.
- Z’KHARYAH (ZECHARIAH) 14:4 CJB: On that day his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, which lies to the east of Yerushalayim; and the Mount of Olives will be split in half from east to west, to make a huge valley. Half of the mountain will move toward the north, and half of it toward the south.

RUACH HAKODESH (THE HOLY SPIRIT)
Ruach HaKodesh first introduced in Beresheet (Genesis). In the Tanakh, the Spirit of G-d came upon individuals during the times of our forefathers, like Moses, David and the Prophets.
- BERESHEET (GENESIS) 1:2 CJB: The earth was unformed and void, darkness was on the face of the deep, and the Spirit (Ruach) of G-d hovered over the surface of the water.
- SHMU’EL BET (II SAMUEL) 23:1-3 CJB: Here are David’s last words: “This is the speech of David the son of Yishai, the speech of the man who has been raised up, the one anointed by the G-d of Ya`akov, the sweet singer of Isra’el. “The Spirit (Ruach) of Adonai spoke through me, his word was on my tongue.

In the B’rit Chadashah (New Covenant), the Messiah, Yeshua, promised His disciples that “the Comforter” would come to them after He was gone, described as the Spirit of Truth who was with them and would be in them. Yeshua further declared that the Spirit of Truth, would guide us into all truth and would glorify Him — the Messiah — not Himself.
- YOCHANAN (JOHN) 14:15-16 CJB: “If you love me, you will keep my commands; and I will ask the Father, and he will give you another comforting Counselor like me, the Spirit (Ruach) of Truth, to be with you forever.
- YOCHANAN (JOHN) 14:26 CJB: But the Counselor, the Ruach HaKodesh, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you everything; that is, he will remind you of everything I have said to you.
- YOCHANAN (JOHN) 16:13-15 CJB: However, when the Spirit of Truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth; for he will not speak on his own initiative but will say only what he hears. He will also announce to you the events of the future. He will glorify me, because he will receive from what is mine and announce it to you. Everything the Father has is mine; this is why I said that he receives from what is mine and will announce it to you.
Section 2: Israel
Ahavat Yisrael is our core foundation as we believe that Ahavat HaZulat and Saving a Nefesh in Israel serve as the salvation of the entire house of Israel.
- ROMANS 9:1-5 CJB: I am speaking the truth—as one who belongs to the Messiah, I do not lie; and also bearing witness is my conscience, governed by the Ruach HaKodesh: my grief is so great, the pain in my heart so constant, that I could wish myself actually under God’s curse and separated from the Messiah, if it would help my brothers, my own flesh and blood, the people of Isra’el! They were made God’s children, the Sh’khinah has been with them, the covenants are theirs, likewise the giving of the Torah, the Temple service and the promises; the Patriarchs are theirs; and from them, as far as his physical descent is concerned, came the Messiah, who is over all. Praised be Adonai for ever! Amen.
In the return of the B’nei Anusim back to the land of Yisrael, to authentic Messianic faith as an integral part of the salvation of all of Israel.
The role of Messianic Jews in the world is to distribute the light, and becoming an Or L’Goy (Light to the Gentiles) by introducing him (or her) to the covenants of Israel and the ultimate light which is the Messiah our righteousness through their “fullness”.
We believe in G-d’s end-time plan for the nation of Israel and the world. A central part of Messianic Judaism is the belief in both the physical and spiritual restoration of Israel, as taught in the Scriptures. One of the greatest miracles of our day has been the re-establishment or rebirth of the State of Israel according to prophecy.
- ‘AMOS (AMOS) 9:11-15 CJB: “When that day comes, I will raise up the fallen sukkah of David. I will close up its gaps, raise up its ruins and rebuild it as it used to be, so that Isra’el can possess what is left of Edom and of all the nations bearing my name,” says Adonai, who is doing this. “The days will come,” says Adonai, “when the plowman will overtake the reaper and the one treading grapes the one sowing seed. Sweet wine will drip down the mountains, and all the hills will flow with it. I will restore the fortunes of my people Isra’el; they will rebuild and inhabit the ruined cities; they will plant vineyards and drink their wine, cultivate gardens and eat their fruit. I will plant them on their own soil, no more to be uprooted from their land, which I gave them,” says Adonai your G-d.

Section 3: The Covenants
The Torah is G-d’s love letter to the Jewish people which is a binding Ketubah (marriage certificate) from today until heaven and earth pass away.
- DEVARIM (DEUTERONOMY) 33:2-4 CJB: “Adonai came from Sinai; from Se`ir he dawned on his people, shone forth from Mount Pa’ran; and with him were myriads of holy ones; at his right hand was a fiery law for them. He truly loves the peoples—all his holy ones are in your hand; sitting at your feet, they receive your instruction, the Torah Moshe commanded us as an inheritance for the community of Ya`akov.
The believers of the nations are invited to partake of the covenants of Yisrael that reflect in their lifestyle and commitment to HaShem, the Mashiach, and the Jewish world.
- YESHAYAHU (ISAIAH) 56:6-7 CJB: “And the foreigners who join themselves to Adonai to serve him, to love the name of Adonai, and to be his workers, all who keep Shabbat and do not profane it, and hold fast to my covenant, I will bring them to my holy mountain and make them joyful in my house of prayer; their burnt offerings and sacrifices will be accepted on my altar; for my house will be called a house of prayer for all peoples.”
Starting with Avraham, an Oral Masoret (teaching) was passed down to us through our Sages.
- The Oral Law is a legal commentary on the Torah, explaining how its commandments are to be carried out.
The unique calling and role of the Messianic Jewish believers and the calling of the Nations to build the kingdom of G-d together.
- YESHAYAHU (ISAIAH) 2:1-3 CJB: This is the word that Yesha’yahu the son of Amotz saw concerning Y’hudah and Yerushalayim: In the acharit-hayamim the mountain of Adonai’s house will be established as the most important mountain. It will be regarded more highly than the other hills, and all the Goyim will stream there. Many peoples will go and say, “Come, let’s go up to the mountain of Adonai, to the house of the God of Ya`akov! He will teach us about his ways, and we will walk in his paths.” For out of Tziyon will go forth Torah, the word of Adonai from Yerushalayim.
Section 4: The Geulah (The Redemption)
In order to restore the Mashiach to Zion we must rectify (set right) his name through returning to authentic Messianic Jewish framework.
- ACTS 2:29-39 CJB: “Brothers, I know I can say to you frankly that the patriarch David died and was buried—his tomb is with us to this day. Therefore, since he was a prophet and knew that G-d had sworn an oath to him that one of his descendants would sit on his throne, he was speaking in advance about the resurrection of the Messiah, that it was he who was not abandoned in Sh’ol and whose flesh did not see decay. G-d raised up this Yeshua! And we are all witnesses of it! “Moreover, he has been exalted to the right hand of God; has received from the Father what he promised, namely, the Ruach HaKodesh; and has poured out this gift, which you are both seeing and hearing. For David did not ascend into heaven. But he says, ‘Adonai said to my Lord, “Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet.” ‘ Therefore, let the whole house of Isra’el know beyond doubt that God has made him both Lord and Messiah—this Yeshua, whom you executed on a stake!” On hearing this, they were stung in their hearts; and they said to Kefa and the other emissaries, “Brothers, what should we do?” Kefa answered them, “Turn from sin, return to G-d, and each of you be immersed on the authority of Yeshua the Messiah into forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Ruach HaKodesh! For the promise is for you, for your children, and for those far away—as many as Adonai our G-d may call!”
- See also: TEHILLIM (PSALMS) 11:8-11
That we can hasten or delay the Mashiach’s return based upon our actions, mitzvot, and walk with G-d.
- 2 PETER 3:11-12A CJB: Since everything is going to be destroyed like this, what kind of people should you be? You should lead holy and G-dly lives, as you wait for the Day of G-d and work to hasten its coming.
The Messianic community of believers is composed of both Jews and Gentiles who have received Yeshua the Messiah as the Promised Redeemer. The “middle wall of partition” has been broken down and now we worship the G-d of Israel together:
- I CORINTHIANS 12:12-13 CJB: For just as the body is one but has many parts; and all the parts of the body, though many, constitute one body; so it is with the Messiah. For it was by one Spirit that we were all immersed into one body, whether Jews or Gentiles, slaves or free; and we were all given the one Spirit to drink.
- EPHESIANS 2:13-22 CJB: But now, you who were once far off have been brought near through the shedding of the Messiah’s blood. For he himself is our shalom—he has made us both one and has broken down the m’chitzah which divided us by destroying in his own body the enmity occasioned by the Torah, with its commands set forth in the form of ordinances. He did this in order to create in union with himself from the two groups a single new humanity and thus make shalom, and in order to reconcile to G-d both in a single body by being executed on a stake as a criminal and thus in himself killing that enmity. Also, when he came, he announced as Good News shalom to you far off and shalom to those nearby, news that through him we both have access in one Spirit to the Father. So then, you are no longer foreigners and strangers. On the contrary, you are fellow-citizens with G-d’s people and members of G-d’s family. You have been built on the foundation of the emissaries and the prophets, with the cornerstone being Yeshua the Messiah himself. In union with him the whole building is held together, and it is growing into a holy temple in union with the Lord. Yes, in union with him, you yourselves are being built together into a spiritual dwelling-place for G-d!
Section 5: The Bible
Beginning with the Torah, the Bible, that consists of the Tanakh (Torah [Teaching/Law], Nevi’im [Prophets] and Ketuvim [Writings]) and the later writings commonly known as the B’rit Chadashah (New Covenant), in the original Hebrew, is the infallible and authoritative Word of G-d. We recognize its divine inspiration and accept its teachings as final authority in all matters of faith and practice.
- SHEMOT (EXODUS) 24:12 CJB: Adonai said to Moshe, “Come up to me on the mountain, and stay there. I will give you the stone tablets with the Torah and the mitzvot I have written on them, so that you can teach them.”
- SEE ALSO: DEVARIM (DEUTERONOMY) 6:4-9; TEHILLIM (PSALMS) 119:89; YESHAYAHU (ISAIAH) 48:12-16; ROMANS 8:14-17; II TIMOTHY 2:15, 3:16-17.
Section 6: Messianic Judaism
We recognize that Jewish people (physical descendants of Jacob through Isaac) who place their faith in Israel’s Messiah, Yeshua, continue to be Jewish according to the Scriptures:
- ROMANS 2:28-29 CJB: For the real Jew is not merely Jewish outwardly: true circumcision is not only external and physical. On the contrary, the real Jew is one inwardly; and true circumcision is of the heart, spiritual not literal; so that his praise comes not from other people but from G-d.
Gentiles who place their faith in Yeshua are “grafted in to the commonwealth of Israel,” the Jewish olive tree by faith:
- ROMANS 11:25-27 CJB: For, brothers, I want you to understand this truth which G-d formerly concealed but has now revealed, so that you won’t imagine you know more than you actually do. It is that stoniness, to a degree, has come upon Isra’el, until the Gentile world enters in its fullness; and that it is in this way that all Isra’el will be saved. As the Tanakh says, “Out of Tziyon will come the Redeemer; he will turn away ungodliness from Ya`akov and this will be my covenant with them, … when I take away their sins.”
BIBLICAL HOLY DAYS: We observe and celebrate the Biblical Holy Days given by G-d, found in Vayikra (Leviticus) 23. Shabbat is celebrated weekly and begins at sundown on Friday and ends at sundown on Saturday. The day of Shabbat was never changed by G-d and is the only day with a specific name. Yeshua is seen in all the Biblical Feasts. We believe that “Messianic Judaism,” the faith of the first century believers, which we seek to practice, acknowledges the continuity of faith in the one true G-d from Genesis through Revelation, revealed throughout the Scriptures and ultimately manifested in G-d’s Son, Yeshua the Messiah.
Section 7: Humankind
Humankind was created in the image of G-d.
- B’RESHEET (GENESIS) 1:26-27 CJB: Then G-d said, “Let us make humankind in our image, in the likeness of ourselves; and let them rule over the fish in the sea, the birds in the air, the animals, and over all the earth, and over every crawling creature that crawls on the earth.” So G-d created humankind in his own image; in the image of G-d he created him: male and female he created them.
Adam and Eve were created to be as one flesh (basar echad)].
- B’RESHEET (GENESIS) 2:24 CJB: This is why a man is to leave his father and mother and stick with his wife, and they are to be one flesh.
But through disobedience, mankind fell from his first state and became separated from G-d.
- B’RESHEET (GENESIS) 2:16-17 CJB: Adonai, G-d, gave the person this order: “You may freely eat from every tree in the garden except the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. You are not to eat from it, because on the day that you eat from it, it will become certain that you will die.”
- B’RESHEET (GENESIS) 3:22-24 CJB: Adonai, G-d, said, “See, the man has become like one of us, knowing good and evil. Now, to prevent his putting out his hand and taking also from the tree of life, eating, and living forever—” therefore Adonai, G-d, sent him out of the garden of `Eden to cultivate the ground from which he was taken.
Therefore, according to the Scriptures, all men are born with a sinful nature:
- TEHILLIM (PSALMS) 14:1-3 CJB: [For the leader. By David:] Fools say in their hearts, “There is no G-d.” They deal corruptly, their deeds are vile, not one does what is right. From heaven Adonai observes humankind to see if anyone has understanding, if anyone seeks G-d. But all turn aside, all alike are corrupt; no one does what is right, not a single one.
Mankind’s hope for redemption is through the atonement made by the Messiah:
- VAYIKRA (LEVITICUS) 17:11 CJB: For the life of a creature is in the blood, and I have given it to you on the altar to make atonement for yourselves; for it is the blood that makes atonement because of the life.’
- YESHAYAHU (ISAIAH) 53:5-6 CJB: But he was wounded because of our crimes, crushed because of our sins; the disciplining that makes us whole fell on him, and by his bruises [Or: and in fellowship with him] we are healed. We all, like sheep, went astray; we turned, each one, to his own way; yet Adonai laid on him the guilt of all of us.
We believe in the resurrection of both the redeemed and the lost; the former to everlasting life and the latter to eternal separation from G-d.
- IYOV (JOB) 19:25-26 CJB: “But I know that my Redeemer lives, that in the end he will rise on the dust; so that after my skin has been thus destroyed, then even without my flesh, I will see G-d.
- DANI’EL (DANIEL) 12:1-3 CJB: “When that time comes, Mikha’el, the great prince who champions your people, will stand up; and there will be a time of distress unparalleled between the time they became a nation and that moment. At that time, your people will be delivered, everyone whose name is found written in the book. Many of those sleeping in the dust of the earth will awaken, some to everlasting life and some to everlasting shame and abhorrence. But those who can discern will shine like the brightness of heaven’s dome, and those who turn many to righteousness like the stars forever and ever.

Human Sexuality
Legitimate sexual relations are exercised solely within marriage. Hence, sexual activities, such as, but not limited to, adultery, fornication, incest, homosexuality, pedophilia and bestiality are inconsistent with the teachings of the Bible and the Corporation. Further, lascivious behavior, the creation and/or distribution and/or viewing of pornography, and efforts to alter one’s gender, are incompatible with the Biblical witness. Marriage is a sacrament of the Synagogue/Church/Congregation. Marriage has been established by G-d.
- BERESHEET (GENESIS) 2:24 CJB: This is why a man is to leave his father and mother and stick with his wife, and they are to be one flesh.
- MATTITYAHU (MATTHEW) 19:4-6 CJB: He replied, “Haven’t you read that at the beginning the Creator made them male and female, and that he said, ‘For this reason a man should leave his father and mother and be united with his wife, and the two are to become one flesh’? Thus they are no longer two, but one. So then, no one should split apart what G-d has joined together.”
- MARK 10:6-8 CJB: However, at the beginning of creation, G-d made them male and female. For this reason, a man should leave his father and mother and be united with his wife, and the two are to become one flesh. Thus they are no longer two, but one.
The Corporation recognizes marriage as exclusively the legal union of one man and one woman in which such union is a lifetime commitment.
